Phone screen dimming issues

Hi there my phone starts dimming for no apparent reason, the screen will sometimes be
normal, then the screen dims itself to the point where I cannot see what I'm typing.this started three days ago.

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Check if you have the brightness set to 'adapt to lightning conditions'. Go to settings > display > brightness. Try to disable it and restart your phone.

Hellow there.

I experience the same problem when i over use my phone while charging or playing too much games or recording a video continuosly from time to time. But it can be remedy by turning off your phone for a few minutes then turn it back on.
