I have the same problem: No incoming calls or texts while full signal. The weird thing is that I can make calls at the same time.

Provider: Virgin UK

Tries so far: Called Virgin; replacement SIM; replacement handset (!!!); tried SIM in other phone

The problem remains! I'm at my wits end here. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. All I can think of now is to get a PAYG SIM from another network provider.

I've seen that issue with other Xperias and it was a network issue, even if they said it wasn't, it ended up being their issue, do you have a thirdparty phone app? antivirus? taskillers? call/sms filter apps?

My Z2 works software perfectly, but have (I think) a build problem, I discovered that the SD card cover is a little to thick - I can feel a sharp alu edge above the on/off button, wondering if anybode has the same, the sim card cover seems ok it's completly hidden after close, no edge to feel on the side while moving finger across. (D6503 - black - 14W17).

I have exactly the same problem but with the xperia m2

Am on virgin network and have intermittent not receiving calls/texts, have tried different sims in handset and still have same problem.

Spoke to virgin mobile tech support who stated that it is a softtware glitch and a problem with wifi and mobile network setting.

Was advised if i wanted to use wifi then to turn mobile data off and switch mobile network to GSM. (this is at home)

when i am out if i want to use internet then to turn wifi off, turn on mobile data and switch mobile networks to WCDMA(preferred)GSM

Hey presto yes it works, but why should i have to do this to get the phone to work!!!!!

Sony state it is a virgin problem and virgin state it is a sony problem

I just want this sorting out, can anyone help at all

Juliex
