With all the respect that I owe to all the engineers who were involved in the 9.2.A.1.199 update for xperia V, the camera is worse than ever (not to mention when NFC is on), problems with the themes still exist,bug when receiving a call.

I installed the update twice, thinking there was a problem with the initial one.

Sony please fix the problems

9.2.A.1.199 firmware update has started rolling on Xperia T LT30p now in regions like Belgium, Switzerland, France, Greece, Italy, USA. Some customization on which 9.2.A.1.199 firmware update on Xperia T has been released are 1270-6411, 1265-1626, 1266-0469, 1266-0473, 1265-1589, 1268-8479, 1270-5202

i flashed 4.3 (9.2.A.1.199) yeterday. everything just fine and smooth, until i realized i cant used my mobile data connection.

first try i used 4.3 build from belgia, and now i flash 4.3 build from italy

for a better performance, try to turn off animation in developer option (turn off all)

what about stamina mode? does it deactivate wifi/data after a few minutes when the phone is locked? because this was not working in .295

Its working in the old software properly.

In settings >>wifi>> advanced>>keep wifi on during sleep, and here check "never"

it's not the same thing.

as you might know, extended standby mode become stamina mode in 4.3

all versions which have extended standby mode (ics jb), wifi and MOBILE DATA is disconnected after several minutes of inactivity, even though your wifi "sleep" policy is set to "always" (meaning that will not be turned off).

if you set sleep policy to never, it will shutdown wifi even when stamina mode is not enabled, so your argument is invalid.

in order to test stamina mode, connect wifi, leave your phone 15min locked and unlock it. you will notice that in pre 4.3 your wifi will be disconnected and will connect in a few seconds automatically. in 4.3 your wifi is always connected !

what about data connection? do you also have an "never" sleep policy that you're talking about?

dude try it with MOBILE DATA. see if it gets disconnected after 15minutes.

how can I see if mobile data is disconected if the screen is off?

When the screen is on, automatically started the wifi, I see the icon appearing in seconds, and the rest, but the mobile data...?

Give it a try with setting "never" pls.

for 2G network, when data is connected, you have G or E near the signal.

for 3G network, you have 3G,3G+, H or H+ depending on your network provider.

so, enable data, lock your screen, wait 15min, and when you unlock you should notice the sign dissapeared and will be connected again in 5 seconds.

if the sign is still there when you unlock your phone, then stamina mode is **bleep**ed up and not working.

you don't understand how stamina mode and wifi sleep policy work.

those are two different things.

STAMINA MODE (previosly EXTENDED STANDBY MODE) SHOULD DISABLE WIFI EVEN THOUGH IT IS "ALWAYS" IN SLEEP POLICY. EXTENDED STANDBY MODE was working like this. i have 4.1.2 and the sleep policy is always and it disables my wifi after 5minutes.

do the next test:

1. put sleep policy to never or only when plugged in

2. deactivate stamina mode

3. wait 15min

4. press power button just to turn on the screen (do not slide to unlock)

5, notice that your wifi WILL NOT CONNECT

6. unlock your phone

7. notice your wifi WILL CONNECT

you can do this also to have at step 2 stamina mode activated and you wont notice any difference.

I have mobile data allways enabled. Yes I see an H, but this automatically disappear when the wifi connecting, maybe that is a bug.

When the screen is off, the wifi stopping, this thing I see, but when i updated for 4.3 in the first days wifi never disconnected, i put the setting to "never" and now the wifi is OK. Like in 4.1

it's not a bug

wifi connected and mobile data connected can't coexist.

if your wifi is connected, it will automatically be chosen over your mobile data because:

1. higher speed

2. it's free

disable your wifi and do the test.
