Have to warn people about the Theme Woody. If that theme IS broken, it will start a boot-loop when you restart the phone. The theme is broken if you cant get the background to show when you change to that specifik theme. It doesnt helpt to re-install the theme. Just change to a theme that works, and Dont use Woody-theme again, or make a clean new install of the firmware.

@nimol

the reboot problem is not caused by the hardware or OS. This caused by either headphone, some buggy software you installed.

you may want to observe by removing the software which you installed recently and clean all its linked file from the phone memory.

Check if you are using the correct headphone.

cheers

Sanj

Thanks for your feedback Sanj, but until now I am quite sure that the update is to blame; you can find my complaint on some of the previous pages. It even restarted after the fresh install, with no other apps than generic, and without headphones. And it all began the day after the update. You needn't be Sherlock Holmes to figure it out.

And how can it BE that nothing is fixed?! I mean, who does that?!

SONY, please, pay attention to this problem. My phone is new, I paid good money for it (and not only considering the living standard) and for 3 weeks it is very unreliable and annoying with this auto-reboot. Once again - please make this fix really a "fix". Or do another one.

Thanks.

Hey guys, just updated mine today. After the update, I had one issue where I noticed that the notification LED for incoming messages didn't blink. I tried to turn off and took the battery out; restarted it again, but still faced the same problem. So what I did was to boot my phone into Safe mode, then tried to text my own number; luckily, the notif. LED blinked. So i rebooted again and texted my own num.; voila! LED has worked again. If you have problem same as mine's, try to put your phone into safe mode, etc.-solved

Next, in the movie app when a video is played background the BLUE SCREEN is still persistent. I don't know if this new firmware update is "bug-fixing" or not. Also, the text isn't aligned properly above the installation/uninstallation bar.
