Severe problems after installing latest android OS

I installe dthe latest android OS yesterdat. Now, battery cannot fully recharge, charges only up to about 65%' and drains extremely fast. the device is producing heat. I have a new (3months) Z1.

HELP..!

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

I would suggest that you first of all try to reinstall the phone software using PC Companion:

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".
