11.3.a.2.23 update- major problem

Hi everyone,

A few weeks ago on my phone some new update showed up. I was discouraged to install it as it wanted to delete all my data, contacts, etc. But today I gave it a go and installed it. Wish I hadn't. The installation itself was very smooth and swift, but after I turned the phone back on, it turned out that it deleted all the apps (I'm pretty sure apps weren't mentioned in the warning before the installation). Anyway, it's not such a big deal. The major problem is with my contacts. First thing I did after turning it on was to import contacts from my SIM card... I did that, message that it did happen showed up, I checked my contact list and it's empty... no contacts imported... So I imported again and again... nothing.... I even saved one contact manually and to no avail... the list is still empty... I'm not sure what to do now, I searched through the Internet and it turns out no one else experienced such a problem... I hope that someone knows a solution and will be able to help me asap.

Open the phonebook > menu > filter
