Long battery charging time

I just bought Xperia Z1 3 weeks ago and it took me 4 hrs to fully charge the hp from below 20% battery level. I visited the support centre and had the battery.changed but it still took 4 hours. Is this normal?

It depends on the charger that is used.What output does the changer have?(in mA)

I am using Sony own charger and connected to the wall power point. Customer service said it takes 2 hours to fully charge it but it took me 4 hours. please help.

Try another wall socket.I still think your cable or adapter might be the culprit.Did they charge with their own cable there?

I think so. I tried charging using another Sony charger which belongs so xperia z but still takes 4 hours to charge it.
