The only problem I had with it is that the Z1 wasnt listed in the device selection menu but picking the Z2 worked just the same.

Pattern Unlock - Not Giving Security Question / PIN options???

I just got the Xperia Z1 yesterday and shortly after playing around with all the features and updating to Kit Kat (4.2 I think), I decided to try the pattern lock option and promptly forgot exactly what it was I entered. Now my lock screen is continously saying that I have incorrectly drawn the pattern (15 times now) and it is NOT giving me an option for a PIN number or a security question to bypass it. I've looked at the forum answers for this issue, and it seems that a PIN/question is what I should be getting, but I'm not. Also, I have yet to set up a Google account on the phone and cannot use the software suggested in some topics (I run OSX, not Windows, so no compatiability).

I feel really stupid at the moment as I've only gotten this phone hours ago and it seems like it's already bricked. Is there a way to bypass or do a factory reset? Any suggestions at all besides returning this phone to the store and asking for a replacement?

Thanks
