This must be one of the strangest phones I have ever owned. There are several issues with it, it's not just one. First of all, it has the worst connection you could ever imagine, not just wifi but also the mobile data connection, my old Laptop from almost 10 years ago has beter wifi reception then this phone. Sometimes it switches itself on and off, same applies to the mobile data, even while I'm in the middle of doing something and poof, mobile date switches off like that out of nowhere. It's also becoming difficult because of this to work with apps that I downloaded, very frustrating!

There is also something very weird about the alarm. Sometimes when I hit the snooze button it doesn't snooze at all, it just stops without warning me within 5, 10 minutes, I have overslept a few times due to this problem. And the other way, when I hit stop the alarm it snoozes, **bleep**?!

But the worst thing is really the bad connection that the phone has, I haven't seen worse yet, I had a Blackberry before this one and it never had difficulty with the reception, this one seems to fail to even have a connection for half an hour and even when you are very near to a wifi portal. Needless to say, because of the bad wifi connection now my bill from my mobile network provider has skyrocketed. I tried downloading several wifi boosters but nothing seems to help.

This really damages the image I had of Sony products, I have a sony vaio laptop and a sony photo camera and they work perfectly fine, this is one of the reasons I was looking into buying a Sony phone, but this phone is just so bad that it changed my mind to ever buying a Sony phone again. Hopefully this can be avoided in the future.

Well, I have updated my phone and the wifi range did get indeed better but still not as it should be on a modern phone. But now I'm struggling with several new issues, it seems as this phone has never-ending problems.

After the update my phone got incredibly slow to the point that it becomes unusable and frustrating to work with. My album doesn't load, my pictures don't show, it takes a whole minute for my camera to start let alone something simple like dialing a phone number and make a call. On the contrary, my download apps still work at a normal speed.

:smileypeace:I knew, what I was buying and I am happy with it. Wifi could be a bit better, but I have a good router at home.. Display viewing angles and collors are poor too, but no drama.

Adreno 320+ hd screen(no need to run full hd like xperia Z) and dual core cpu make it a very powerfull phone. Big battery and led strip are not bad too

The only thing I want now, is a software, that works. And kitkat on the way

New problems start to show up

Dust is piling up under my screen, screen start to flicker from time to time, brightness of the screen is starting to show problems too, and add to that the constant freezing of the phone, and sometimes the on/off button doesn't seem to respond so I have to switch the phone off to get it going again

Btw, I had the impression in the beginning that the Wifi connection got a little bit better but it seems that I'm back to the point where it was before the update, wifi constantly switching off

I have the impression that this is not a software problem but more of a hardware mallfunction.
