Disable Sony Updater ?

Is it possible to disable the Sony Updater completely? I know you can stop it notifiying you about individual apps

but it keeps bugging me for the system update 14.2.A.0.2.90 and I can't stop it! I don't necessarily want ot be reminded to

update constantly!

Really?? So I have to have this permanent system update reminder in the top left of my notification bar until I actually update it? Surely there must be a way of saying "no thanks" ?!

Contact Sony directly but for what I've seen you can not until you install the latest update

You can try force stopping the app and clearing data,but it will come again.

Following my early post about disabling system updates, is it possible to actually remove this annoying app completely?

There might be a way but you will have to root your phone and uninstall some system files/apps, not recommended
