Bluetooth A2DP quality

I'm having trouble listening to music through sbh52. When playing music through any application affected by noise. Does anyone have similar problems? How to solve this problem?

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Have you been able to verify this with other headsets or Bluetooth audio devices as well?

You could try to master reset the SBH52 and check if you notice any difference.
BTW, do you listen to music in your SBH52 using headphones or the built-in speaker?

I tried to listen music from my notebook through sbh52 - sound was perfect.
Also I tried to listen music from my phone through notebook - sound was perfect.
Members from Russian forum has similar problems

And this problem appears only on last firmware - 14.2.A.0.290 Android 4.3

i have same problem. a noise appears after updated 14.2.A.0.290 Android 4.3.

i tried to master reset the SBH 50 ,restore my device firmware , its not work.

fyi : on 4.2 sound on SBH 50 was perfect.

the problem wasn't appear on wire-headphone.

And a Smart connect app last-update not compatible with stereo bluetooth headset SBH50 App (But when removed update, its become work properly)

I have same problems with sound after updated 14.2.A.0.290 Android 4.3. But i'm using headset pro MW1 with the last update. About Smart Connect app - same problem.

On previous android 4.2.2 everything was fine.

I have the same problem with Xperia Z after 4.3 update (10.4.B.0.569), with BT music streaming to Sennheiser M550-x and Jawbone Big Jambox. No noise via wired connection.

UPD: found this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.devmil.xperiabluetoothmediafix , seems workingm but Sony must make a fix on their own, I suppose.

Since the firmware update the connection to my bluetooth headphones is erratic, it pops and stutters much much more than it ever did.

Anyone else suffering with this?

So many people seem to be experiencing the Bluetooth issue since the JB 4.3 update, me included. I do hope sony releases a fix for this as, currently, my Xperia Z is a very expensive ornament in my car, not being able to connect to the Bluetooth on my Sony car radio in my Ford Mondeo. I saw somewhere else that Sony recommends updating the software in the car which is ridiculous. My pal with a Razr i running JB 4.3 can connect to it with no problems. I can't even connect with any other device to send photo's over BT.

Come on Sony, please release a patch urgently as it's clearly a firmware problem...

This will be fixed in the Android 4.4 (KitKat) update. Unfortunately I have no estimated time for the release but stay tuned with our product blog for more information.

I have Z2 and mm550 x head set. Z2 does not detect headset but will pair with other things, Computer does not detect head set but will pair with other things, Ipod sometimes detects head set. whats going on.? is it the phone or the head set?
