[SHARE] [JB 4.3] C5302 Changes

Flashed .266 firmware C5302 Indonesia, did a factory reset, and I can confirm these changes (bug and improvement)

Bugs:

- The handset is easily heating up now. And when it gets hot enough the screen suddenly gets unresponsive. It's like lagging. I have never faced my SP lagging before. Seriously...

- Walkman music light is almost not blinking at all on high volume.

- Bravia Engine is there, but the effect is gone.

- Camera quality is still the same. So much blurr on several objects with the same/similar color, like leaves. I expect something more from this given the hardware. My Xperia ray could shoot much better.

- Your picture on "Myself" contact won't show up on Messaging message bubble.

- RAM management could be better.

- Everyone said that the battery life has improved, but as for me it's not. Even worse. Probably due to the white theme.

Improvements:

+ I love the new speed. I can feel that it's snappier than before now.

+ I like the new screen transition.

+ The new appearance is definitelly better. But for me personally, I prefer the dark theme.

+ Bug on textbox is gone

+ The offline charging bug is gone too

+ Well, basically everything else is good. Well done Sony.

Seems like the bugs do exist globally.

Oh, and a few tips from me to make the screen to be more IPS like, go to Settings > Display > White Balance, and apply these values:

Saturation 7.5

Hue 240.0°

What do you mean by "+ The offline charging bug is gone too". What was the problem?

I have a problem with charging level indicator when mobitel phone is turned off.

I updated it by using PCC, did a factory reset, two hours ago I re-installed stock ROM by using SUS and nothing helps.

I didn't have this problem with the previous version of firmware.

Hi (sorry for my english)

I didn't make the upgrade yet, I want to know if Sony add a functionnality to 4.3 before doing it.

With 4.2 and >, it's no more possible for applications to change the flight mode (if not rooted). But I want to turn my phone off line automaticly at night.

Some manufacturer (as Wiko) add this functionnality in their interface. It's working because manufacturer's applications use root user.

Is someone can they us, if Sony did it or not in this new version ? It would be very kind.

charging bug is gone too" means that in the previous version, .254 in this case... I had problem with offline charging. When I turned off the phone and plugged it in to the power, it booting up to the homescreen instead of showing up that big battery icon.

Xalbat, if what you're asking is the system turn on and turn off schedule like in those vanilla ROMs, there's none in this ROM.
