xperia s camera doesn't work properly

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am a big fan of SONY in all aspects. But unfortunately, my Xperia S camera doesn't work properly. When I turn it on to take photo, after some seconds, it turns off and on and it happens many times. When I am taking video, it happens again and stops recording the video. Now it seems that my Xperia S powerfull camera is useless for me. Please help me to fix the problem. I have set it as reset factory mode and there is no difference.

I am in New Zealand now and don't tend to lose my time here.

Apart from the factory reset have you tried to run a repair using SUS found here - Download, Install and follow the onscreen instructions to run a repair

There is no "Xperia S" in the models. What should I do? Which of them I should select?

uli,if you remember someone else complained about the 2012 models not being in SUS.Could the SUS version differ or what could be the issue?

SUS on startup will scan for updates download and apply and only after doing that will it fully startup for use

I don't know if its a regional issue, because I can see all Xperias and even older Sony Ericsson phones

I can see the older models too. But not Xperia S. As well, I am in New Zealand, not in a desert!

Could you help me to find the relevant version to find my phone in the list please? I checked my phone with Sony website. Both the android and build version are seems up-to-date. Should I use SUS however?

Help me please. My camera is killing me!

I will check my SUS tomorrow and I will see if it shows 2012 Xperias.

As for your problem,try to use pc companion.

Have you tried to run a repair using PC Companion - Don't connect your phone - Click on Support Zone then Phone / Tablet software update then in the box in blue click on Repair my phone / tablet and follow the onscreen instructions on how to proceed with regards to phone connection

My SUS also finds all the NXT 2012 models.I cannot figure out why it does not show on some particular cases.

I tried to use support zone, but it sais that my phone is up-to-date. Nothing to repair the phone? We are approaching X-mas

Click on your phone/tablet is up to date,you get a message and down at the last line you get a link to repair.

it's driving me crazy. the application doesn'r work on windows 8. shame on SONY.
