Xperia Sp 4.3 Problem

Problem with ram managment only 200mb free with nothing inside i did the update 2 times with SUS, Is there a way official to come back to 4.1? My phone lags. Iam very dissapointed sony has a big problem with her updates. Iam not going to buy again phone from sony i had xperia ion again problems with the update.

4.3 is supposed to use more RAM,so from 1 GB that SP has,you will not get too much free.Force close apps you do not use,it will help.Also,restart the phone often.

This is strange...in any case you will have around 300 (+ / -) free if you are not running too much apps especially with no app, as you have suggested!

Did you reset to factory after update??if not do it..it will solve your problem

After update I got only 180mg free ram.but after factory reset by phone problem fixed...now I have viber.whatsapp.instagram and illustration bar and fb that running. In background. And I have about 300mg free

hi,

my uncle is using xperia sp and he is also having the same problem. He is also having problem of lag. He went for factory reset and now his phone is better than before. As far as RAM matter is considered, android 4.3 require min ram of 1gb and recommended ram is 2gb as said by google. This 4.3 rom is actually designed for xperia z and z1 they have 2gb of ram. So one thing is clear that you cannot solve the ram issue. Normally you will be having 250 to 300 mb free ram. In 4.1.2 phone was supposed to have at leat 450 to 500 mb of ram because 4.1.2 recommended ram was 1gb. And idk about rollback of OS.

Hey guys, I too faced the problem of extreme lag on my Xperia after the 4.3 update. I tried reinstalling the update using the Sony update service but it didn't help. Even multiple factory reset's didnt change a thing. So I tried the repair option on the Sony PC Companion software. It didnt work properly on Windows 7, so I run it in the compatibility mode with Windows XP Service Pack 3(Also run as Administrator). So the update process started working. It downloads the files & installs it. After the update, the phone was fast & snappy as before. There are minor lags during some app updates, but are mangeable.

Hope this helps anyone who is still facing these problems.

I have used flashtool and put there australian version of 4.3. Disabled apps I do not use. Now I have about 350 mb free, phone is fairly quick. Some minor bugs still remain,but this is finaly a useable xperia sp.

After the newest update, my xperia sp won't let me change the lockscreen wallpaper. I have the swpie option to unlock my phone. Besides that and a little screen flickering I'm having no other problems. Is somebody else having the wallpaper issue too?

I'm having problems with lag, unable to open apps and generally nothing I've tried has.fixed it. Done factory reset, reinstalled firmware and uninstall / reinstall apps. This is after updating to the most up to date version of jellybean. Called Sony and they said they are aware.of the issue but can take between 2 - 7 days to send out a glitch fixer. Not happy lol

are you using 12.1.A.1.201? This is the only one that seems to work. I have it and it's brilliant.

If you do that that version I had the same issues as you but it was completely fixed after repairing my phone using pc companion and COMPLETELY FORMATTING. one other thing dont forget that this phone lags when downloading and after a new install loads of apps will try to update - i thought it was screwed too then i just waited until after everything has downloaded and it was great.

Got 1500 extra antutu marks and excellent wifi now.
