PS3 Controller wont turn on

Baught my new PS3 wireless controller from Flipkart today. I checked the internet before opening the seal to check whether the controller is fake. In every aspect it is genuine. And now when i try to turn it on, it wont turn on. I tried to charge it by connecting to PC. But it is not turning on. Any help pls

Have you tried charging it using your phones charger? If the battery is completely drained it may also take a few hours of charging before you can start it.

Thanks for the reply. Can i charge my controller using Xperia Z1's charger?? Is it ok to charge with it? And can i use any third party cable for that. Because my phone's charger is mucro usb and controller's is mini usb. So can i use any third party usb cable with my charger and charge it?

I have kept it for charging now, but the LED lights are not turned on, neither flashing. Is it normal?

I checked and even though it's USB you can't charge it using the phones charger. It should be able to charge from a PS3 or computer though.

If you have access to a PS3 i recommend that you also try charging it using a PS3 but if not i would recommend that you contact the dealer for assistance. It should blink while charging.

I dont have a PS3. I baught it for my Z1. Ok can i use third party cable and connect it to pc? A to Mini-B type USB cable is ok i think.
