Why would you want to disable that function? It's not as if it causes any problems? As far as I am aware you cannot do so (may be wrong). It may be built into the semcphone.apk/somcphone.apk, don't mess with that stuff things can end up messy :smileypeace:.

Thanks for the link.
Most of the times when i try to pick a call . . .mistakenly fingers swipe upwards and a call gets rejected with a message which is chargeable.
And i don't need this feature so please give a option to disable it in next update.

Just go to >Phone>Call Settings. There you'll see an option to Reject Call with Mssage. Go there and yowill see some template messages. Jut delete all the message one by one and thats it. Your problem is solved

If I remember right You can't delete them that way just change the text of the message

just delete al those messages n press home button...
as there will be no msgs in the reject call with message list & as u all know blank messages cant be posted this stuff will work & it did worked in my xperia phone

I use my phone for work. My clients do not appriciate being told off by a sms that I am not even aware of.

On my Xperia ZR there was a workaround to delete all the messages and thus there was nothing to send but now on the Xperia Z2 that is not possible, there has to be atleast one letter in the box to press "OK", some person at Sony really really like this function to make it impossible to disable it. You dont know how much grief it causes with clients having to explain its my stupid phone that "accidently" rejects their call and not me.

Does anyone know if this is fixed on Z3? If not this is in all seriousness a dealbreaker and im a long time Sony fan. Im sure I have broken a few deals myself in business because of it.

This must be taken seriously...when the rejected call is from abroad, the auto SMS reply cost a lot...SONY, please do something about this.

We can delete message, but it is sending as a empty message. Settings- Call settings- reject call with message- Then delete default message and click space 1 or 2 times. Then you can Ok that message box. Every messages are empty, but these are send as a empty messages.

For my z1 compact with lollipop worked with deleting the messages. I used 1 space and saved them. Now when I want to reject with message first appears a box that asks me to write a message, so I need to touch the empty space and then write at least one character and after that I need to touch the send button... So I can say that there are about 4 operations that I need to make when taking the phone out of my pocket... Hopefully that will be the end of it for me

Try to disable GLOVE MODE in DISPLAY. I had the same problem, it was as my phone was making fun of me, sending txt messages to everybody who calls me. Really annoying, especially when your bosses are calling you. So far, is working normal, no more rejecting messages. I have Xperia Z3.

Hi, I just wanted to update. My phone was OK for a while but then it started again. At one point the touch screen feature didn't work almost at all. I google so much that I was dizy already. I remembered the first option they are telling you when you have a PC problem. "Did you shut it down and restart after few minutes?" So, I've done that - and IT WORKED!!!!.

maybe I was just lucky, but ... I was over the moon. Try it.

i just bought xperia m4 and just realised this function when i logged into my sms folder. i have rejected a call with a message from my customer while i was driving my car. very frustrated and hated this stupid function and why sony never solve this problem since 2013.Hope sony do something or ilt will be my last sony hp
