STAMINA MODE not working?

well today when i woke up i saw that the stamina icon in the status bar wasn't there. i went in settings> power saving and the stamina mode was n. i turned it off and again on and icon still wasn't in the status bar. i am running 4.2.2.

Stamina mode will get activated only when the battery goes below a user set level. Tap over Stamina mode, not over the toggle switch but a little left to it, and check what cut off is set, and also check your present battery level. If you already know this, try resetting your phone to factory settings.

stamina mode is on all time but then it prevents all background apps from runing while in sleep mode so the battery holds longer, the there is power saving mode that will turn off most stuff like wifi, mobile data and much more after the sett % you made so if it's 30% then once it's 29% the power saving mode kicks in disabling most features.
