Try a reboot and do not touch any button while the phone reboots. If rebooting takes you always back to safe mode automatically, it means that Android has detected some serious conflicts with its operation by a third party app. Android can automatically take the phone into safe mode in such situations. You need to uninstall the recently installed app/apps to bring Android back out of safe mode.

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1810421

http://support.t-mobile.com/docs/DOC-3311
