That seems to be an app acting up or something else, redownload the ftf file or a different firmware and try again

Hey guys

I recently had my Arc S come from a warranty repair. Funnily enough, they said they updated the phone to the latest software - that being GB according to them.

Anyway, I got home and upgraded to ICS (4.1.B.0.587) and the data traffic notification has made a permanent home for itself on my active notifications. I've turned it on, I've turned it off, I've restarted the phone, I've repaired the install. It won't budge.

Now, I previously had a different firmware (can't remember the version though) and I could swipe it clear just fine. Is there any way around this, other than rooting the phone? I've seen similar problems with app notifications being solved by clearing the app data, is there any way it could be this simple? If so, which app manages the data traffic?

Cheers
