I do have 3 major issues with this phone
1) if I charge the battery to 100% them it drains very quickly from 33 to13% but if charge it to some 80% it works properly, why and solution.
2) it does not remember anything about home screen customization on rebooting. Every single app(on sd card) which I had moved to home screen, on rebooting I would not find them, moreover I have installed some apps like Google drive, economics times, wordweb etc on sd card but after restarting it they were simply lost, I mean it's annoying you are losing all your important data just because your phone can't remember thing on your memory card.
3) I don't know why but some times it restarts on its own.

I use16gb class 10 memory card.

This is my second phone first one they(retailer shop)
Replaced thinking that above mentioned problems were piece specific but I am facing same issues on my second set also.

I just brought my Xperia C 10 days ago.

I found out that when the battery level reaches 35%, it will start drain at a rate of 1% per 15 seconds and stops at 13%

This happens every time when the battery level reaches 35%

I have tried reinstall firmware of the phone but the problem still persists.

Is there any other Xperia C owner also facing the same issue, is there any solution available?

I am very appreciate if someone can help.

Thanks in advance.

3 Major issues on this phone replaced 4 times but yet same 3 issues .

xperia care solve these universal problems with xperia c , these occurs with all my xperia c phones replaced 4 times and still same issue in 5th xperia c phone . many others also facing same as i read reviews problems in xperia c -

1. Apps or Games in SD Card (any type) which having shortcut on home screen disappears after restart , but shortcut of apps or games which are in internal storage (phone memory) remains on home screen even after restart . also replace phone 4 times same issue .

2. Big Issue - Whenever Battery reaches to 35% or near this then it drains very fast in 2-3 minute it reduced by 20% until i switch off and switch on after 5 minute with all things off & with low battery mode , it stop then and work as usual . From 100% to 35% it is very nice as it drains very very low and drains 3% in 1 hour with average use . so it is very very big issue . also replace phone 4 times same issue .

3. Again with battery related - Sometimes when we do call while charging and after disconnecting it stops at 80% and after that it charges very very slow and charges 4% only in 1 hour which is very less than its normal time which is 32% in 1 hour . also replace phone 4 times same issue .

And please directly contact me with solution on my mail id with which i posted this issue and no service center and customer support could solve these however they tried many times but cant succeed , so solve these , your brand name does not suit these issues .

Even I am also facing the same battery issue as mentioned by goyal94, my battery drains approx in 5min from 30% to 5%. There is definitely some issue with the software in Xperia C. Also one more very irritating issue I am facing is when I call to some number, any number and I put the phone to ears, due to proximity sensory the screen goes off, which is a feature but after replacing it back from ears screen should again come live, but It doesn't. EVEN after pressing power button the screen flashes but didn't come up. Many times even when I am not on call it happens that I press the power button but screen does not gets on. It gets on after 30-50sec. 2-3 times I had issue that I cannot get to power on by pressing power button, I tried volume keys as well but screen doesn't come up. Then I plugged in the headphone still didn't come up. Finally when I called my self from friends phone my phone started working. I don't get this issue regularly but occasionally. Please fix it asap

I'm also facing the same issue. The first thing that i notice that some 'meter' icon will pop out at the status bar (which is the low battery mode that i enable). I try to disable that and it seems that the battery drain reduce (i guess so but not really sure yet).

This image showing my drain battery issue. (1) 20% at 8.34 and (2) 13% 8.43. Without doing anything and just turning on the wifi back after the low battery mode kicked in(which turning off the wifi)

I have been using xperia C for the last 3 weeks and I do not have any problem with battery. Try this: switch off the phone and wait five min.then connect for charching, let it charge for atleast 5 hrs. then switch it on.This may solve your problem.

There seems to be a bug in some sets. you should go to Sony service centre. When service centre gets lots of complains, then Sony will realize that this model is defective.

Its not a problem it is a bug in software... The bettery level shown by xperia c is fake while the bettery is 80 or 90% it works perfect but after 30% its start draining very fast actually the bettery is less when it shows 80 or 90% it is arround 60 or 70%. So when it reaches 30% its original lyf is 10-15% and thats why it starts draining that much fast
