How do I avoid this error? Dont tell me I have to delete all the data everytime this problem occur. You see, this happen due to shortage of internal memory. And sony said xperia c comes with 4GB. But all I see here its less than 2GB. And after used by all the build in apps they left only 70MB. How do I solve this problem? Seriously can I claim warranty? And get new phone? Or what? Solution needed here! Thanks

Before using SUS or PCC you can try to clear data for Google Play Store, Google Play Services and download manager. Go to settings apps > all > Google Play Store/Google Play Services/download manager > clear data. Restart your phone and try to download again. Both using Wi-Fi and 3G-network.

Check your phone memory, how much is free. You can transfer your apps to sd card through 'apps2sd/app manager' (free), then go to settings>apps>all>Google Play Store/Google Play Services/download manager >clear data. Switch off phone wait for 5 min. and restart, this should solve the problem.

That would be internal memory, phone memory would be around 500 Mb if you have some apps/games installed. The internal memory is almost a waste, u can use it for storing songs and videos only.

if you can change this phone go change it and dont buy sony phones again as they cheat on us ..they say its 4 gb and we can have only 1 gb which almost consumed in pre installed useless apps
but if you will live with xperia c ok we can solve this
first factory reset the phone to remove everything installed now you have the 1 gb free for apps ..go root the phone you will loose waranty btw ..after that install app called root uninstaller ...now remove all usless apps pre installed on internal memory like chrom facebook sony select ..and any app you dont want ...after that open playstore again and reinstall facebook and chrome if you want now they can be moved to sd card and you have good free memory and every app you install remember to move to sd card
