      <description>Hi just wondering if anyone can help me ASAP my screen on xperia z1 is broken and touch screen does not work I have a replacement coming but I want to get my data off the phone or at least reset before sending it back. As the phone is pass code locked I cannot enter code to connect to computer is there anyway around this.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only tip I have is by using an OTG-adapter where you can connect a mouse and open your phone from here. Thereby, you can make the needed changes by removing the pattern lock for example or perform a back up in the pre-installed back up &amp;amp; restore application.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Note: In order for this solution to work, you need to be able to activate your screen by pressing the ON/OFF button.&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;When you send your unit to a service center, your data will be wiped at the service center. But if you want to reset your unit on your own, I suggest that you perform a software repair on your unit via Update Service:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer"&gt;http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Download and install SUS, follow the instructions that appear.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
