Emails taking forever to load

Just wondering if anyone else has this problem or if there is a solution?

Since the latest update (which is great in every other respect) a new email will come in, I'll click on it and it can literally take up to 5 minutes to open the smallest text based email! 5 minutes is a long time to be staring at a loading screen.

Is this going to be fixed or is there something I can do?

I have a Sony Xperia Z phone. I'm using the email system that comes with it if that helps...

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Are you able to notice any difference if you do it via Wi-Fi instead of mobile networks or vice versa?

If not I suggest that you clear data for the E-mail application and add your account again.

Settings > App's > All > E-mail > Clear data.

Thank you Johan for your suggestion. I've since played around a bit (I didn't want to clear data as I have about 9 email accounts setup...) I uninstalled a virus checker app which I think may have been causing the problem! I tested it on 1 email and it seems to show up a lot quicker. Fingers crossed that solved it!

This problem is still happening. About 99% of them take over 5 minutes to load. Is anyone else having this problem or know a solution? I do have 9 email accounts set up but I would imagine this phone should be able to handle that...

And I check them over a good wifi connection...
