Using in ford focus

I am unable to use voice control through Bluetooth in my ford focus. It seems my Sony in car system is unable to read my contacts. I am able to answer calls whilst driving and also make calls using my phone manually through the in car system. Can anyone show me where I am going wrong. My old Sony phone worked ok.w995l

are you using firmware 15.3.A.0.26 firmware?

Thats the problem, bluetooth on that firmware is **bleep**e, you could try re-installing the update again, as some users reported that doing that fixed bluetooth problems.

I rolled back as i found that firmware far too buggy for me to use

Thanks. I'm not sure of rolling back. I have had the problem since I got the phone in august. I will have to stick with incoming calls only for now.Thanks again.

wait for the next firmware then, pretty bad from Sony in fairness not to test Bluetooth, as its a crucial part of the phone for a lot of users.
