Album, Movies and WALKMAN Updates for C6943

Hi, My name is Rafael and I'm from Brazil, I'm a proud owner of a Xperia Z1 (my model number is C6943).

I bought my phone at local Sony Store (unbranded), but I have one question, when I visit XDA-Developers or Xperia Blog I see a lot of news about updates on Album App, Movies App, Walkman...

But these updates doesn't appear for any C6943 (we discussed this on a Brazilian tech forum), I have a friend that bought a imported Z1 (C6903, the european model) and he received these updates, but my C6943 didn't have them.

The most importat for me is Walkman version 8.0 (I'm still on 7.0) that it was released in early december, two months ago. I saw today that Album App received an update to KitKat (Android 4.4), what if my Z1 gets updates to KitKat before I receive this Album update? Will my Album App stop working?

Can I have a offical statement from Sony about why these updates aren't available for any C6943?

I just got the update today but I don't have the same Z1 as you do, also, updates vary per region and/or country. the album work just fine with 4.3 and it should work with 4.4
