Google maps is not working

Google mps is not working.

When I try to get directions in Navigation option,I am getting an error message that "Your current location is temporary unavailable".

I am getting similar error if I try to find my current location.

I have tried using this app after clearing the cache but the problem is still there.

I have also uninstalled the updates and installed it again,but the problem still persists.

I have tried using both 3g and WiFi .

Hi and welcome to the community! Since you're new please be sure that you have checked out our Discussion guidelines.

Do you get that error message directly? Or do the phone try to search for your position for a while?

Do you have GPS enabled, and sub settings for GPS?

I am getting this error message when the phone try to search for my position for a while.

I am using maps after enabling the GPS.

Ok. Then make sure that you're under free sky (not inside a building).

If it still fails you may want to try reinstalling the phone software using Update Service..

Before reinstalling your device you may want to backup your information first. Check out this topic for more information on how to.

If the issue should still remain I think that this needs to be examined and fixed at a repair center. For more information about how to submit your phone for repair and where, contact your local support team.
