New System Update Available?

Hi Just bought an' Experia M' smartphone. On charging for the first time it said an update was available, of which I did download the update 15.1.C.2.8. But 'am still left with a msg saying '15.1.C.2.8 Computer required' Even when I check the updates on the phone it does say its up todate & on connecting to PC, 'PC Companion is' mentioned for download? Is this the reason I still have a msg about a new system update available, which won't disappear? Do you have to download 'PC Companion'? At the moment theres no new sim card in so worried about memory. I am new to smartphones.

So after you updated to latest prompted by PCC,you still get the message?

Hi thx for quick reply......after the initial update, the new system update msg appeared again & says 'computer required'. Would this disappear if I downloaded PC Companion?

How did you update for the first time?Download PC companion.

Error computer Required after downloading the update file. Can u pls help us to solve this issue. Like, we have downloaded the update file but unable to loate tge download file, what do I need to do to get this issue resolved. pls help me..
