Call log empty

Hi,

The call log on the Compact isn't populating. I've tried doing hide and then show call log, as well as adding and removing filters but nothing works it just stays blank. Interestingely, I've added a call log widget to one of the screens and this populates fine.

Any ideas?

Try settings-apps-all-phone,force stop and clear data.You might also want to try a force restart(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates).

3rd party apps work?Try to boot in safe mode,see how it goes:

I've tried it in safemode but still didn't work. The phone is pretty fresh in terms of installed apps etc. I only got it yesterday and all I've done is transfered the contacts from my iphone and installed a handful of apps from the store.

So I've restored the phone to factory settings and the call logs were working fine. At some stage however these have disappeared again. My suspicions are either on Whatsapp, Facebook or Facebook for Xperia.

Uninstall all the apps and use it for a while and see if it happens again.

tap to wake was never promised, same as 4K recording, as for your call logs, I still have all my call logs

call logs empty is a problem already known and opened many topics, already 'with Android 4.3

search "call empty logs" in forum..

it's true that was not promise, I would be expecting me.. in Z2 is present..

Hi there.

I was facing the same problem and found some kind of a solution.

I've installed a call log from Google Play (Call Log Monitor, one with a red icon) selected all the log (with the check boxes) and delete the log. On the Phone log it appears a message saying "Call log empty", tried to make a call and the call appeared on the log.

Problem solved, with a little effort.

I think that the problem is with the recover app from Sony, so... DON'T use it

Thanks Arpinacio for the All log app suggestion, but my log still did not populate - as I make a lot of calls this is a very frustrating software fault.
