Do you mean push messages? Message - tap menu button - Settings - Push settings.

Or may be you mean the cell info display or tower location information as available in Symbian phones. I don't think it is possible in android, but I am not sure. May be you can wait for more help.

why it will not work in android phones? then why did SONY Xperia M Dual have "CELL Broadcast SMS" feature in

Messages-> settings-> general->cell broadcast SMS? to make fools of their customers

I use Sony M Dual C 2004 with android 4.2.2.I was using 'Cell area broadcasting info' downloaded from Mobogenie.It was working fine but as soon as Sony upgraded this OS to 4.3 This apps stopped.there are two possibilities.Sony has withdrawn support to this app or developer has not updated app to be compliant with 4.3.I am requesting to resolve the issue at the earliest,Sir. More to say that 'Bradcasting option' is no more;formerly it was available in message seting general catagory.Pl consider this matter because in India it is one of the reason to buy Nokia & Samsung mobiles.Both companies has not withdrawn this facility.If nothing is possible;Sony corp may issue this facility as a inherent feature;updating th OS again.Matter is very small but its use is great.I assume Sony Tech team must have overlooked this time,,otherwise upgradation has fantastic result.Thank You Sir.

I also lost cell broadcast option after 4.3 update in Sony xpria my dual. Please resolve this issue

I have trouble with setting sms on my xperia m dual, every time I send or reply sms, this phone always do with sim no.1. I think this operation will make my college confuse if they know only my sim no 2. Could anybody give me advise. Thanks before
