I wonder if someone can help me

I am not receiving notifications about emails

I have to manually scan for them

It is set to scan for them every 15 minutes

Is there a way to set it up so the phone notifies me as soon as I receive emails

Go to main messaging page, select settings, and from there select when to receive email notifications...easy

Make sure that you have auto sync enabled for your email account. Go to settings > enable auto sync. Then press email > press your email address > mark 'sync email'.
