Hi,

I've managed to setup my email but can only seem to get it to refresh every 5 minutes, does anyone know how to get it to push email from my hotmail account?

Set it up as exchange account and you will get push mail. That's what I did with my outlook.com account. Don't set it up from the email application but go into settings, find accounts and you will see an option to add a new account and choose exchange.
