A quick reminder, it's wise to re-install the update, it will smooth things out and probably solve some lag issues.

Too dissapointed cannot move app to sd !!! my S3,S4,Note2, Note3 have option to move apps to sd in 4.3 why not in sony???

i think sony should remove the 64 b GB SD card support its useless coz when internal memmory is full i always think to take out the 64 GB sd card and put in sony **bleep**

I don't see any updates? I keep hearing that the updates have rolled out and yet my tablet says that it's up to date. What gives?

Seems some people with the LTE version got it... 311 does not appear to have got it yet... I hope it is not the previous update which I believe only LTE versions in some countries got..UK website shows new version also for the WiFi version, but noone seems to have got it yet....

Well the problem is that Sony support tells me that the version I have 4.2.2 is in fact Jelly Bean and it's the latest version. This clearly does not match what it says on their webpage:

Android version: Google Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean)

Latest available software: 10.4.B.0.577

Release started: 2013-12-23

So, now I don't know what to think.

Moi j'ai été sur leur service de tchat. Et on m'a dit que le déploiement de la mise à jour se faisait par étape selon la date de fabrication. Mais apparemment, personne sous SGP311 n'a reçu cette mise à jour 4.3. Mais que fait Sony ?

Sony Select does not work after update.. It comes back with Network error. "No network connection. Please try later"

The themes download also takes me to Sony select, so no new themes can be downloaded. Could be a transient issue during the whole upgrade program, but as it is today it does not work..

The 4 small shortcuts on top left alongside the google serch bar has disappeared along with the search bar ( not that I am concerned)

The Wifi name issue on the notification area has now been sorted. And the settings area has white background instead of black, probably to save on battery juice..

I second that. Here are 2 more what I found..
1. The screenshot option. On power button press has disappeared..
2. Don't understand why the Sony walkman app is on version 7 when version 8 has been available in xda forum for sometime...Can someone from Sony please clarify?

Well, the wait is over.

The update is now available in Eastern US. I connected to my Mac and the update showed up. Needless to say, the system update on the tablet itself is quite useless since it kept insisting that the system was up to date.

Edit: Contacted Sony support over chat. They think my 311 is still a phone and ask me to reinstall update using PCC and download MMS settings again. MMS is an option in phone which Wifi only tablets don't have. So not sure if the advice is valid... (at least they should recognise their own products..)

Has anyone got the Walkman updated to 8.1.A.0.3 ? I was told by a user in XDA forum that they got it through OTA after the 4.3 upgrade. Mine is still on 7.15.A.0.2 which is what came with the 4.3 update. My Tablet is a UK/311 wifi only.

Up until now I don't have a update on PCC or Update center. Do I need to update again using SUS ? Or reapply the updates through PCC ?

Can someone from Sony suggest a way to get the new releases of Sony Apps ? Would be grateful..

There is no charging indicator anymore when tablet is off when charging in cradle (didn't try USB). It does charge but screen remains black.

I found some bugs
1 Sony select tells me I have no Internet contention
2 wisepiolot that came with. 4.3 also tells me that I have to check my Internet connections
3 when I open the menu and go to the left for settings and go click on search, as soon the keyboard opens, the whole screen starts flickering to black. (off)
4 When I use the keyboard in large mode (standard mode) screen also starts to flickering.

Not. A bug, but I also mis the shortcuts on the top left that I used allot.
And I liked the dark settings menu. Is there a way to set it to dark again? I don't like the light version, especially in the evening and at night.

Sony Select issue seems to have been a transient problem.. Since today morning it seems to be working again..

But no joy with walkman.. Previously I could play all songs in one go, I don't know how to do that in this version. if I play one song, the same song seems to be repeating itself.. Unless of course I select another song manually. Recenly played songs playlist does not carry all songs.. Any ideas ?

You have to select the Songs option... Silly me !!!!

I upgraded the system to 4.3.

When I use the virtual keyboard the screen flashes / flickers.

No solution is a reboot.

I've re-installed completely empty system.

The error is mainly in the Chrome browser and the Facebook app was to occur.

What is wrong?

How to solve this problem?

same with my tablet. Keyboard blinks at Facebook/messenger apps or in Firefox browser. It happens when the keyboard is open for longer time, for ex. 1,5 minute or more
