topic Association Rejected in XPERIA archive

My Xperia Z1 has stopped connecting to the Wifi in my house. It will sometimes connect, but drop soon after. I get alerted that "Wifi is available" but when I click on my Wifi (Which is secured and has the correct password entered) it attempts to connect then it will either just say "Saved" and not connect, or "Associated rejected" and not connect.

No other device in the house has this problem, including a Sony PS4 and PS Vita. The router is running on channel 11 and I have had no issues with other devices failing to connect. I am up to date on software too. Any advice?

a lot of people got this. seriously it is very bad, if you are not careful you could end up paying a lot to telco. i starts to suspect that sony created this so that the telco would sell their phone.......

Is there no fix for it whatsoever? I've tried everything, swapping Wifi channels, passwords, settings, the lot
