Upper side of screen not responding

I just bought a new Xperia SP. The upper part of the touch screen is not working. I already tried updating and resetting the phone, nothing worked. Any suggestions?

Xperia SP has touchscreen issues,especially when the phone is on a flat surface.Some say enabling glove mode fixes issues,but I suggest you take the phone back.

I also have xperia SP facing same issue from last one year. Upper touch panel is not working ............Please suggest something .....sometimes i feel that i don't have any smartphone when not able to use un-rotatable apps like all e-commerce and e-taxi apps which will not rotate (always works with horizontal screen only) !!

Is there any solution for this problem ??

Your support ll give back my smartphone value!!!
