4.3 uk unlocked handset

can some one from sony explain why unlocked handsets still haven't got the update for 4.3 in the UK, when locked network phones have, I fail to understand why as a network has to add there branding and send to Sony for approval, when the stock firmware only has to get the OK from Sony, we paid good money for a phone which Sony ingore like the plague, the bugs in 4.1 make the phone unstable and sometimes unfit for purpose, I have waited for Sony to sort this out but it is becoming a joke, when will unlocked handsets get the update, no more lies Sony, and if the bugs are still there, expect me to get request a refund under the sales of goods act as the bugs make it unfit for purpose, which in the UK is unlawful

I would like to know this too!! Still waiting in England.

I might aswell have bought my phone from Vodafone not Sony! I don't understand why unlocked phones wouldn't get the software first?? Makes no sense in my mind.

+1 Brought mine from phones4u so it didn't have all the stupid bond crud by default and got timely updates... What a joke

+1 here as well. Altho my phone hasnt had as many problems as other people (apart from tethering and homescreen lag).

Worse phone I've ever bought, 1st one broke due to water damage even though it's never gone near water and had to replace via insurance, 2nd one software is full of bugs which make the speaker stop working, random reboots and freezes, volume on music and ring going low after calls, battery drains way too fast my partner has s3 mini which has a smaller battery and still lasts longer in standby

Still no update this evening
My main problem is constant connecting/disconnecting from WiFi when standing right next to the router, and also seems to have much weaker signal than other phones.

Other than that I don't have any issues with the phone except for poor battery life!

Oh, and when you disconnect headphones the sound is completely muted and the phone won't ring. I have to restart it to get it to work again! And the walkman player is awful it can't get through a song without freezing and restarting from the beginning sometimes.

I don't know what they are playing at now. They did quite a chunk last week and it went quiet over the weekend. Everyone expected them to resume full speed on Monday, yet it seems they have pushed just a few regions if any since then. Of the people who claimed to receive a update this week they could be wrong anyway. A guy in another thread said he received UK unbranded yesterday but it doesn't show for anyone else. I asked him to check as he's either on Vodafone UK software or not UK at all because its not released yet but no reply. I guess he's mistaken.

Im a unlocked T uk user and have recived no update. One thing i will say guys sony never reply to these forums it is only for users!

Sorry thats just the way sony work.

Matt you may have hit the nail on the head, all updates have gone quiet from sony judging by the problems on xda with the T this maybe a good thing!

Why has the unbranded T in the uk not recived the 4.3 update when other countrys are alraedy on bug fixes?

Come on sony give us a answer we bought the phone so we deserve a reply.

I struggle to understand the way android updates are rolled out. If the software has been tested and certified then make it available for everyone. I'm on O2 and still waiting for this update. Do O2 even know of this release? Wash my mouth out with soap, but the bad Ap
ple is looking like the way forward. Sony release far too many models and forget it is the existing customers they need to keep happy.

Yet waiting for 4.3 for mine. its unbranded uk from phones4u.

Tested 4.3 first release from CE Skyfall file, but would prefer to be on the UK version.

I just refreshed in the update centre... And there it was! Available now UK unbranded
