Problem with Sleep function

I can't find any option to disable the screen sleep function when the phone is on mains power or in the DK31 Magnetic Charging Dock.

I find this very annoying. Does anyone know if the sleep function can be disabled?

You cannot disable the sleep function via settings>display. It can be done under developers options, thinking "Stay Awake"..... But why would you like to have your screen on if you're sleeping.

Remember that LCD screens have a limited lifetime , and consuming the time while sleeping, IMHO is a waste...

I only want to have the screen on while the phone is in the charging cradle on my desk at work. At night I turn it off so I don't get disturbed while sleeping.

Why shouldn't there be an option to have the screen on under mains power?

I would like to see the same thing. Using phone as digiwatch at night. Currently have to tap power button to wake up screen to get the time.

On top of that, lock must be turned to none, as the lock screen is on top of alarm screen if on. A bit akward, but guess there wouldn't be much security if anyone could turn off lock mode by placing phone in dock 😉
