buzzing during calls

Hi guys,

I've noticed that there's a buzzing sound in my ear speaker during calls (similar to the noise that you hear when you put your phone next to a speaker and a text comes or your phone is exchanging some data).

I hope it's not normal and I can do something about it ?

Its Normal, just check if you have enebled Speaker Voice enhancement , try checcking Mic noise Suppresssion.

I was about to bring the phone to repair. In my case the noise was really BAD, like if the membrane of the speaker was damaged and was somehow vibrating.

Is there any good use of this setting? I mean, to me it only causes problems, I cannot understand why Sony offer such a terrible option.

On the other side, try the "slow talk" option, super cool.

I am living in Germany and my German is not so good, with this option I ear slowly and can understand better.

I personally also find interesting the "smooth" setting in the EQ, to avoid a much bright and noisy sound.
