I've tried a couple of times to update my Xperia Pro from Android 2.3.4 to Android 4.0 with the PC companion.

Every time the PC companion says, I already have the latest software. build-number: 4.0.2.A.0.62. android 2.3.4.

Who knows how I can update my phone?

It seems that your carrier/network did not approved ICS on your phone, here is an alternative
