incall noise distortion

Alright guys. Anyone having any issues with the sound quality during calls? I find my Z1 quite distorted, i often find voices are tinny and have an 'electrical' (sorry thats the worst description you'll ever read) quality to them.

I'm living with it but i'm not happy considering this is a high end unit.

mobile data/3g on or off makes no difference.

I find the quality of calls also bad.
And I have the best provider in Germany.

Hello,
I noticed that if I use the voice search while using normal headphones (=headphones with no mic) there is a loud intermittent noise of circa 5 sec when the mic gets activated or deactivated.
The same happens if I use apps like Looper or Loopstack which use the mic.
In Loopstack i hear this noise when I exit the app. And if I open it again before that the noise disappears, the noise keeps going forever and it is veeeeeery annoying.
This noise does not occur when using the mini app recorder of the z1.
And it does not happen with the Sony in-ear headphone which come with the phone.
What can it be?

I have this problem too but didn't get any help from Sony here.
I also messaged them on Facebook and was told to take my phone to a Sony centre. So not particularly helpful!

Yes, i've the same problem, precisely, it has a background sound of electric current when picking up call. Super frustrating!
