There isn't a 'time out' feature Theres day dream but it only has blean flick or photo slide show, there is also only an option to make the backlight stay on for 30 mins. I just want to know if you can make the clock stay lit permanently until I take it out of the dock?

Quite simply how do you turn this off/on, I would rather my phone had the dimmed desk clock when connected to the dock then nothing at all? Thanks in advanced.

Check you do not have security settings that enforce the time out and log back on. My work email policies makes their security policy unavoidable.
