Xperia S keeps freezing & shutting down

I am having major trouble with my Xperia S mobile. It keeps freezing and turning itself off. Everytime I try to do a force start it comes on (sometimes doesn't) then freezes again and switches off. Is this a known fault on this device or is it just mine?

I cant seem to get it switched on properly. gets to the 02 logo and freezes again. doesnt charge or usb doesnt work when it goes like that

With SUS your phone has to be turned off
