cant change watchface since update

Software version - 1.0.B.1.6/1.0.A.1.3

When i select a different watchface it just ignores me and goes back to the digital default one.

Have tried resetting my watch and phone but same issue, any ideas?

Use SUS to update /repair your SW2

I have the same software version as you.

You have to swipe to the desired new watchface, then tap to confirm. The image should become outlined/framed in blue to indicate it is the installed watchface. Now you can turn off the display, and the new watchface will be there.
