Hello everyone, I wanted to ask if you happened a few problems:

* The proximity sensor sometimes does not work during a call and I will lower the drop-down notifications then going to turn on / off functions with the ear (sometimes airplane mode with a consequent fall of the line)

* The touch screen, sometimes the mode gloves becomes so sensitive to perceive touches to 7 /8 mm away from the screen, sometimes the other hand, despite being selected does not recognize the touch even with the hammer, obviously without changing any setting.

* The bravia engine has never worked , despite being set never appears the small icon during playback of videos, photos etc.

* The screen sometimes does not turn on when you press the unlock button , necessitating two other pressures . This happens both when starting from standby or during a call, you unplug the phone from the ear and the proximity sensor should turn the screen on . It should pushed twice the off button.

I have the latest version of firmware, the phone is the condition of sale, no root, no unlock.
On the screen I applied the protective film that I found in the package.

Thank you all for any information that will allow me to solve these problems , I think all of the software.

I experienced same problems too since I updated the latest software version via Sony PC Companion.

HI,

Same issue facing with unlock button and I lost all hopes on Sony product after 2nd Update 254. Even I lost expectation on 4.3 JB update. For Xperia SP. Simply i wastes 26K INR on Sony Xperia SP. Every I finding different issue in this mobile. I listed some of in that.

1> Music Player Issue : When hearing music if I try to access any other application that time music will stop for 2 sec and start again (Multi application launcher issue)

2> If I closed Google chrome immediately mesas Xperia Home will get hang.

3> Battery back up time issue.

4> Un necessary programs are running in background.

Same isuue has been escaleted to Sony Team. But no respons from them and one of hte major thing is the head ohone which i have got with Box it's too bad.

Just to let you know, these are not prblems specific to your phone, everyone with an SP are having these issues and many more. Mine is in for repair for the second time!!

I think Sony really need to take a serious look at this phone and get it sorted as it is doing them no favours at all.
