Hi all,

Just wanna share some of my experince almost 1 year using this xperia J. I've done things quite a lot on my xperia J. Its including upgrading, unlocked bootloader, rooting, installing recovery, flashing the ROM and optimizing this phone.

Until now, I have found a setting that the most optimized for xperia J (according to me (^0^)) , maybe I 'll write it step by step for you all:

1. Firstly, unlocked your xperia J bootloader and root using this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2183737

2. After that install the following program: ROM tool box lite, ROM customizer, GO Launcher EX, and Clean Master

3. Using ROM tool box Lite you can configure the CPU governor and adjusting the lower processor frequency. I set the lower on 480 MHz and highest is on 1 GHz and the governor is ondemand. This CPU setting can maintain the xperia till 7-8 hours (in condition that use it quite often on internet, chatting and browsing)

4. Using the ROM customizer you can uninstall the system program (Sony default program), that previously cannot be uninstalled from your phone. Programs that I unistalled are: the live wallpaper (black hole, bubbles, magic smoke, phase beam), default sony program (Chrome, Email, Home screen tips, movies, sony select and Update center). I uninstalled the update center caused I think the JB is quite enough to use for daily activity and still well supported by the google play store. Don't worry the program that you uninstalled can be re installed again using the ROM customizer. This was done to make the system having larger room for installing other applications.

5. Using Clean Master can provide larger free memory on your phone. I recommend using the one click boost using this program

6. Go Launcher Ex is quite a good launcher that I ever tried on xperia J. For some reason, I found that the xperia home launcher cannot reserved enough memory from the phone. That's why the phone quite laggy. This launcher having so called 3D core (beta) to make sure the fluidity of the user interface. And provide quite lot of transition animation.

Well, I guess that's all I can share with you all on this posting. Hope you can share your experience in using this xperia J also and can enhance the performance on your phone

Regards,

Frans

You should let the users know the pros and cons of unlocking the bootloader such as warranty will be void if they do so
