play store doesn't work!!!!!

When ever I click it it starts loading then just redirects to the home screen displaying the message 'unfortunately, Google play store has stopped' and when I tried this (Open up settings > Apps > All > Google Play and tap clear data and clear cache. Try to log in again) it didn't work please help me and thanks.

Also try to uninstall updates for Google Play Store. Go to settings > apps > all > Google Play Store > uninstall updates. Restart your phone and remove the battery for a while. Then try to download apps again.

If you still experience the same behavior I suggest that you update/repair the phone software using PC Companion:

Actually I've experienced the same things as you. Using other phone, not the xperia. Maybe you should check the internet on your phone is it still working or not. In my experince, the playstore will respond as you mention above when the playstore tried update the apps but cannot find the internet connection.
