xperia ZL lock screen apps

May be it is not specific to ZL. My ZL has latest update of sony OS.

on lock screen on 4.2.2 we can add shortcuts for apps such as camera etc..

By default right side camera is present left side it was showing "+". When I tried to add an app on it, it shows very limited applications.

I would like to know is there a way to extend the list? I could able to add Evernote widget but unable to add shotcut for calls or sms messages etc..

Is the functionality is limited or can I do anything to add desired app/widget?
