I am trying to download Whatsapp to my experia u as the program on there is out of date. Although I am on top of my router I cannot download the lastest version. Is it best to download thru my Lap Top and then transfer, if so how do I do this. Please help as I am not a techy. Thanks

You should download through playstore, keep in mind that this is not a warez forum, is your connection working at all?

open a browser and go to time.gov also speedtest.net

Try this

Settings > apps > all > playstore > uninstall updates > restart your phone > try again
