Hey guys I have one simple question.
When I want to update/repair or do anything about software changing, how should I connect my phone to pc and what program should i start (pc companiom or SUS)?

Im asking this because after reading many posts on this forum, people keep mentioning all sorts of ways to connect the phone (power button and +/- volume, turned phone off or on...)So can I just connect it while its turned on,start pc.companion and let the program do its thing?

Yes, you can simply plug the phone into your PC via the USB drive; there is no need to turn the phone off beforehand. As it will be (i'm assumiing) the first time you have done it, your phone will automatically start installing the necessary drivers and software (PC Companion). Once this is installed, you will be alerted if your phone has an update available.

There are different ways to do update/Repair as you mention. Pc companion in most of the cases is similar to ota updates, while sus is mostly being used for repair, wiping all the data from device, clean firmware install and would require to enter your device into flash mode. Since recent versions of pc companion is able to repair, you can use this app without any problems
