Hi Everyone I am new my wife as brought an Xperia M and we have been trying to change Message alert tone without luck can someone please help thanks.

Open the messaging app > menu > settings > notifications

I received msg with ring and vibration but vibration is in off mode ,guys help me

really cant understand it. Have you installed any appslike flow lite which are overriding the settings for messaging? Even some apps like battery saver etc have vibration settings which may be overriding your messaging settings. Otherwise i dont see why your phone should be vibrating when it is set not to. If all else fails and you are troubled too much then try repairing your phone with

Update Service (SUS) or

PC Companion (PCC)
