Restoring contacts back

While upadting the software i back up-ed my contacts and everything in .dbk format somewhat around a GB...and now i can't restore it back...Its really annoying..There's no option in the PC companion too...Please help it..this is really annoying!!

I tried everything installing restore.jar and other stuffs..But m not able to retrieve it...HELP plz!!

If you have done the back up in PC Companion, connect your phone to your PC > Go the "Back up & Restore" function > Press on the back up you want to restore so it's highlighted > Press on Restore.

If the back up is not made in PCC, you need to elaborate your question with further details.

I m experiencing a similar problem

i backed up all my data including contacts in "Backup and restore" option

but now i want only my contacts to be restored, not any other data

all my data is backed up in my sdcard

IS there any way to restore my contacts back through any software or using app

Please sony do let me know
